What it is
Oxylabs Headless Browser is a cloud-hosted remote browser automation service. You connect to it over the Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP) using Playwright, Puppeteer, or any other CDP-compatible library. You do not install or manage browsers locally. Oxylabs runs Chromium and Firefox instances on their infrastructure, pre-wired with 175M+ residential proxies and automatic CAPTCHA solving (hCaptcha, reCAPTCHA, Cloudflare Turnstile).

Safety and ToS caveats
Oxylabs restricts certain target categories to prevent abuse. Restricted categories include entertainment and streaming (Netflix, Spotify, Twitch, Disney), banking and financial services (PayPal, Bank of America, Binance), government portals (usa.gov, canada.ca), gaming platforms (PlayStation, Steam), ticketing (Ticketmaster, Eventbrite), webmail (Outlook, Yahoo Mail), ad networks (Google Tag Manager, DoubleClick), and public IP checkers (ipinfo.info, iplocation.net).
Some restricted targets can be unlocked after a KYC review with your account manager. Use https://ip.oxylabs.io or https://ip.oxylabs.io/json to verify your session IP instead of external IP checkers.
Do not scrape targets that prohibit automated access in their terms of service. Review Oxylabs' acceptable use policy before running campaigns against sensitive or regulated sites.
